The Sionyx OPSIN is a revolutionary ultra low-light night vision camera that can display images in color at night. And that, without having to use infrared illumination. As a result, you are never visible to others. The compact night camera is designed for hands-free use, making it night vision goggles. It can also be used handheld. With this product you will receive a swing-arm for mounting on a helmet and a battery pack. Opsin has 4x the performance of the Sionyx Aurora PRO.

What can I see?

With Opsin you can detect a person in the middle of the night at distances of up to 150 meters. The large field of view of 44 degrees increases your situational awareness. With a sensitivity of <1 millilux, you will have a crystal-clear image even with minimal ambient light. This is provided by the new, patented Black Silicon CMOS sensor from Sionyx. It has a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels (60hz). This sensor processes the available ambient light - for example starlight or a full moon - into crisp, clear images in color. The cameras from Sionyx are the only night vision camera in the market that can display color night vision. Sionyx Opsin features a crisp AMOLED display (1920 x 1080 pixels). You can focus manually and correct for your eye using the built-in diopter setting.

Never visible for others

Because the night vision goggles have a light-sensitive sensor, the device does not need an infrared illumination. Infrared illuminaors work like a flashlight, which is not visible to the human eye, but is visible to night vision viewers. And when IR would be switched on, your position would be immediately visible to others. With Opsin you never have to worry about this! The night viewer also comes standard with an eye cup, so that no light leaks from the display. 

Multi-functional use

Thanks to its IP67 certification, you can use the night viewer in the most extreme weather conditions.It is powered by the included battery pack. This contains four 18650 batteries, which allow you to use the night camera for up to 8 hours. The advantage of this is that it can be easily attached to the back of your helmet or headset. Moreover, the battery pack and night vision goggles are equally lightweight (300 grams), making this a perfect balance. This makes the Opsin a useful tactical night vision goggle, suitable for hands-free use. 

Which handy features can I use?

With Opsin you have many useful features at your disposal, including GPS and a magnetic compass. It also offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This allows you to remotely control the night camera with your smartphone or tablet via the free Sionyx app (iOS and Android). You can also live stream images, so another can watch live with you. This is possible at distances up to 15-30 meters, depending on the number of obstacles. Of course, the recording function should not be missing. Photos and videos are stored on the included 32GB microSD card.
