AXAGON USB-C 20Gbps - M.2 NVMe SSD ARMORED Box | EEM2-20G

Fast external AXAGON EEM2-20G ARMORED box with USB 20Gbps interface for M.2 NVMe SSDs. The double-sided USB-C connector on the box enables a reliable connection. In the package you will find a USB-C -> USB-C cable to connect the box to your computer.

Thanks to the USB 20Gbps interface, the transmission rate is up to 20 Gb/s. To take full advantage of the speed of the box, the controller of the connected device must be compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. These controllers are typically used in gaming laptops and modern desktop computers. The external M.2 box also supports other modern features e.g. UASP, TRIM and enables reading S.M.A.R.T. disk status monitoring information. Standby support when idle.

The advantage of the box is the attachment of four different lengths of SSD cards - 30, 42, 60 and 80 mm. M.2 drives can be single-sided or double-sided. The box does not limit the capacity of inserted SSD. Opening the box via only one screw makes it easy to mount and dismount the M.2 SSD disk. Disk replacement is quick and easy, thus expanding the possibilities of using the box, e.g. for data migration, testing, etc.

Aluminum box body and thermal conductive pad provides very good M.2 SSD disk cooling. Vents on the sides ensure sufficient air circulation. This extends its service life and also prevents the disk from slowing down, so-called Thermal Throttling. Another benefit is the silicone sleeve, which provides better protection of the box against shocks, prevents sliding on the table and ensures a comfortable grip in the hand. The outer metal housing is made in black colour with an elegant finish, that prevents unwanted fingerprints.

By inserting the M.2 SSD in the box, you will easily create fast compact and universal external disk. The box can be used with computers and notebooks, as well as with mobile phones and tablets.
