Featuring a side-gap design, the cage provides unobstructed access to the battery door allowing for quick battery changes without disassembling the cage. The cage fits the action camera snugly, with inner silicone pads to prevent scratching the camera body. The camera is placed into the cage from the top and secured with a thumbscrew, requiring no tools for installation. The cage features a cold shoe mount and a 1/4"-20 anti-twist thread hole on the side for attaching microphones, LED video light, and other photography accessories. The bottom action camera interface can be folded for storage, and it also features a 1/4"-20 thread hole for direct attachment of 1/4"-20 screw tripods, selfie sticks (4758), and more. Comes with a silicone lens cap for lens protection during storage.
