Samyang F 2/12 NCS CS black Fuji X
Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CSC is a fast yet compact and lightweight wide-angle lens designed specifically for mirrorless APS-C cameras. It provides an image angle of 98.9 degrees, equivalent to an 18mm lens mounted on a full-size camera. Also available with mount for Micro Four Thirds (Olympus and Panasonic). The short focal length and high optical quality make the Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CSC the perfect lens for landscape, travel, interior design and architecture photography. With a fast maximum aperture of f/2.0 it is also ideal for astrophotography. In addition, the lens can be used with filters (67 mm filter thread) and comes with a detachable hood.Technically, this is one of Samyang 's most advanced lenses. The barrel is made of high-strength aluminum alloy and the optical design consists of 12 elements divided into 10 groups. This includes both an aspheric element (ASP) and a hybrid-aspheric element (H-ASP) to provide maximum sharpness throughout the image even at large apertures.Three elements of extra low-dispersion ED glass counteract chromatic aberration. Two of the elements are also treated with Samyang 's latest anti-reflex coating, NCS (Nano Coating System). It contains nanocrystals which, among other things, provide better transmission, increased resistance to reflections and higher contrast than a normal coating. In short, even better picture quality. Features Fast wide angle lens for mirrorless APS-C cameras (will also fit Micro 4/3) Compact and lightweight but solid built with a metal barrel Manual focus and manual aperture ring Exceptional image quality thanks to asperical lens elements, ED glass and Nano Coating Detachable lens hood Available in black and silver

1. How to choose the right lens for a mirrorless camera?
When choosing the right lens for a mirrorless camera, it is important to consider your photography needs and style. First, decide on the resolution and focusing distance you require. For portraits, lenses with a wide aperture, such as a 50mm f/1.8, are often preferred. If you enjoy landscapes, go for a wide-angle lens (e.g., 24mm). To capture distant objects, telephoto lenses (e.g., 70-200mm) are useful. Another important factor is the lens’s light-gathering ability, which affects performance in low-light conditions. A stabilization system can also be important, especially for longer lenses. It’s important to evaluate the build quality of the lens and the manufacturer's reputation. Try out several lenses and consider your future needs to choose the right and long-lasting investment in your photography.
2. Are all lenses compatible with all mirrorless cameras?
Not all lenses are universal for all mirrorless cameras. Different manufacturers may have different mounts, so it is important to check the lens compatibility with your camera. For example, lenses for Canon, Nikon, Sony, and other manufacturers' mirrorless cameras may not be interchangeable without adapters. It is also important to consider the sensor size. APS-C lenses may be disproportionately large for full-frame cameras. Before purchasing a lens, it is advisable to check the manufacturer's compatibility chart and consider the specific requirements of your camera. Adapters can allow the use of third-party lenses, but there may be some loss in functionality or quality.
