The EF-M 55-200mm f / 4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is closer to the event and is intended for use with the EOS-M. It is the perfect complement to the Canon EF-M 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6 IS STM lens and allows you to zoom in on objects - perfect for capturing wildlife, sports events and travel.

Optical Image Stabilizer
To help keep the focus sharp, the EF-M 55-200mm f / 4.5-6.3 IS STM has an image stabilizer that prevents blurring due to random camera movement (camera shake). You can use exposure times of 3.5 degrees longer than normal, which allows you to shoot in low light with a hand held camera.

STM technology enables fast and precise focus adjustment during shooting and smooth, almost silent operation during shooting. Because STM motions are so fluid and silent, the recordings are devoid of unwanted focus and distraction distortions.
