BOWENS MOUNT COMPATIBILITY

 

Nanlite FC-500B has the standard Bowens mount, which is fully compatible with Nanlite's Bowens mount accessory ecosystem, also equipped with an umbrella hole for mounting diffuse umbrella and reflective umbrella, enabling it to be compatible with a great variety of Nanlite modifiers. Furthermore, the applicability of being easily paired with third-party Bowens mount accessories in the industry, create endless light shaping possibility.

With easy-to-use built-in controls, a 2.0 inch screen with two knobs and two buttons, the Nanlite FC-500B provides a straightforward dimming method, and highlight user friendliness. In addition, the FC-500B supports precise on-board dimming in 0.1% decrements, which can meet most lighting demands even without the need for additional controls. The power supply is built with a safety strap and quick release plate, for easy rigging and installing on light stands with the quick release clamp (optional purchase). Combined with the lightweight and compact power supply, a concise and efficient workflow is maintained by the powerful Nanlite FC-500B.

 

 

 

 

EFFICIENT CONTROL

 

Nanlite FC-500B has built-in 2.4G and Bluetooth module that support Nanlink APP control. The Nanlink system is tailored for content creators, as well as indie filmmakers, thus it will play a big role in studios and live-stream scenarios. Moreover, the availability of wired DMX/RDM connection control, enables the FC-500B to meet the needs of TV commercial and professional grade shooting teams for complex and accurate group control lighting.

Nanlite FC-500B has 12 built-in special effects, that help bring to life the scenarios in the mind of creators, and strive to achieve the unity of realistic imitation and artistic processing. In addition, the parameters of each effect are fully tunable through on-board control, and more customization can be obtained through the Nanlink APP.

 

 

 

QUIET ON SET

 

The Nanlite FC-500B is equipped with an adjustable cooling system including four fan modes SMART, FULL SPEED, LOW SPEED and OFF. In SMART mode, the average noise level only stands at 27 dbA, showing excellent noise control ability, will bring more recording friendly experience for studio shooting scenarios such as interview and live broadcast.* In SMART mode, the fixture will automatically switch fan speed according to the ambient temperature. In FULL SPEED mode, the maximum output is 100%. In LOW SPEED mode, the maximum output is 50%. When the fan is off, the maximum output is 8%.
