DescriptionStealth Gear Square Hide Green description
Developed by nature photographers
The Extreme Nature Photographers Square Hide was developed by nature and wildlife photographers: Extensively tested and adjusted of which this is the current model. This is one of our two-person pop-up hides that we currently offer.
The improved spring steel construction means that this photohide can be set up and folded many times without any problem. As soon as you take the hide out of its cover, it will automatically come into shape. After that, install the extra poles in the roof. Ready for use!
Perfect camouflage
It's important to camouflage yourself and your gear with a specialized photo hide if you want to photograph birds and mammals succesfully. The whole idea is that animals don't see or recognise us as humans, and therefore don't feel threatened. This double person hide will do the job perfectly for you!
Prepare well
It is good to know the area well where you want to shoot, so that you can position your tent in time and in the right place. Therefor it's good to know the position of the sun, and where you'r expecting wildlife or birds.
Try to make use of the existing vegetation to blend in the surrounding as much as possible. The hide can be secured with the pegs and guy ropes provided, in case weather conditions are a bit rough.
For additional camouflage you can use branches, reeds or leafs (please do not break off live branches or plants), or use one a camouflage net.
Imagine yourself waiting in your hide, perfectly prepared and ready for some action...
With some patience and a bit of luck you will shoot pictures of your favourite bird or mammal, at these moments it's a magical feeling! For wildlife and nature photographers nothing beats the feeling of taking nice shots of wildlife, making it worth waiting. At that moment it is important that you can rely on your gear and equipment!
About the hide
The tent fabric is well camouflaged at the outside, and black coated on the inside to make sure it's as dark as possible inside. You'll have enough space for one or two photographers, chairs, backpacks and of course your gear.
You can choose from photo windows at all sides of the tent + the option to open these small or wide. In case you want to film birds or mammals the screen wide open can be a better choice. All windows are at normal (eye) level.
The viewing windows with an insect net provide enough overview to all sides.
The tent fabric itself is made of a strong material (polyester 150D) that will last for a long period. During rain you'll still keep dry because of the Hydrostatic Head of 2.500 mm. However, keep in mind that the weather resistance can decrease some if it is left outside for months or even longer. The colour may also fade slightly if the tent is exposed to sunlight for a long time.
The large door at the back has a high qualitiy zipper with strings (less noise), all zippers match with the color of the tent. Once the door is opened it will not fall down but hang aside, and has an additional camouflaged insectnet.
So, if you're looking for an ideal single or two person hide for photo or filming, affordable, easy to carry, sets up & folds down very fast, the Extreme Nature Photographers Square Hide is the perfect choice for you!

1. How to protect your camera from rain and is special protective equipment necessary?
Protecting your camera from rain is important because water can damage the internal components of the equipment. Special protective gear, such as a rain cover or waterproof case, can be useful in extreme weather conditions. These protections can shield your camera from direct rain exposure and help prevent potential damage. It’s important to store your camera in a dry place when not in use. Regardless of the protection used, it is recommended to regularly maintain and clean your camera, especially if it has been used in the rain or in humid conditions, to avoid corrosion and loss of durability.
2. What are the best tools to protect the lens from rain when shooting outdoors?
The best tools to protect the lens from rain are special lens covers or umbrellas. Lens covers are made of flexible, water-resistant material. These covers shield the lens but still allow free shooting. Umbrellas provide protection against raindrops. To protect the lens from rain while shooting outdoors, it’s best to use special lens covers. Waterproof protections, such as silicone covers, allow you to protect the lens from rain while still providing easy use of the camera. Additionally, you can use special sprays that help repel water from the lens surface. This ensures that even in rainy weather, you can create high-quality photos without risking damage to expensive photography equipment.
