The Ermenrich Ping RD40 radiation detector is used to measure background gamma, beta, and X-ray radiation. It will help determine radiation levels in the environment, water, food, and other objects. It will help determine radiation levels in the environment, water, food, and other objects.

A Geiger-Muller counter is used to measure the radiation level and operates in the range of 0.08µSv–50mSv. The screen displays the current, average, and total levels simultaneously. Up to 10 measurements are stored in the device memory.

A 750mAh lithium rechargeable battery allows the device to work for up to two weeks without interruption, while the battery charges within 2-3 hours using a regular USB cable and an AC adapter. The detector features a low battery indicator.
